Movies

I believe we are going to learn more about making movies later in this class. I'm looking forward to learning how to make a movie because it is so useful to be able to splice media so that I can show my students important pictures and maps with cultural music in the background. Movies are a simple way to present lots of information in a interesting presentation. Though it will take lots of work to construct the teacher can even grade quizzes while the students watch a film. :-)
I have no idea how to make a movie, but I'm excited to learn and I’m thankful to Dr. Jenny for all his patience with those of us in the class who are still learning. It may even be fun to have my students make films as an assignment to help them learn more about a time period in History or a certain country.

I think this sounds like a wonderful idea. Throughout different classes while growing up, many teachers would show a segment of a movie to help us better understand a concept or simply relate a visual understanding to something we had been learning about. I was unaware we were going to learn this skill. I completely agree with the beneficial use of educationally advancing movies and I am excited as well for these future lessons. :)
