Microsoft Excel

Databases are extremely helpful in general because they keep information organized and manageable. Microsoft Excel is a great software that allows us to construct and update databases with utmost efficiency and accuracy.
When it comes to teaching I'm looking forward to using Microsoft Excel to keep up with my student's grades. I can not only have individual tables for quizzes, exams, projects, etc. but I can also link those and grab information from all of them to make a spreadsheet of final grades. Using this program will save me lots of time and headache. I'm really thankful that we are learning how to master it in class.

I agree that Excel will be extremely helpful when we enter the classroom as a teacher. Isn't it great to know that we're learning practical lessons that will come in handy in our futures?
